Photoshoot details

How to book a photoshoot?

You start by filling out the booking inquiry form on this page. To do that, simply click the “Book a Shoot” button above. Then, I’ll reach out via email within 2 business days to schedule a video call with you so we can discuss your vision and get your photoshoot on the calendar.

If you’d like, you can also send me a DM through Instagram to inquire about booking.

Is a deposit required?
Yes, a $100 deposit is required to secure your photoshoot date. This deposit is non-refundable unless some highly unusual circumstance causes me, your photographer, to cancel.

How many hours do photoshoots typically take?

A standard photoshoot typically takes 1 to 2 hours. Conceptual photoshoots usually require more time– 3 hours or more, depending on the nature of the project.

What if I’d like to shoot for an extra hour?

No problem! For every kind of photoshoot, each extra hour is $200.

Do the price of the photoshoot cover planning and editing?

Yes! The pre-planning and editing work that I do to ensure you receive the highest quality product is wrapped up in the hourly photoshoot rates.

What if I only want a 30-minute photoshoot?

The amount of work on my end will be the same, so a 30-minute photoshoot costs the same as an hour-long photoshoot: $200.

How long will it take to get my photos?

The length of time it takes for me to edit and organize your photos depends on many variables, including the type and scope of your photoshoot. On average, it takes me about 3-4 weeks to deliver photos to my clients.

How many finished photos will I receive?

Depending on the type of photoshoot and photos that will be available as mentioned above. Additional photos will be negotiated separately.

What happens with my deposit if I cancel my photoshoot?

If for some reason, you have to cancel your photoshoot, your deposit will not be refunded.

What happens with my deposit if the photographer, has to reschedule my photoshoot?

If I have to reschedule your photoshoot, your deposit will apply to the new date we select.

What happens with my deposit if the photographer has to cancel my photoshoot?

If for some reason, I have to cancel your photoshoot, I will return your deposit to you in full.

Who has the right to use my photoshoot photos?

We both do. The photos I produce for you during a photoshoot remain my art, so just as you can use them for whatever professional or personal purposes you wish, I can– unless you specify otherwise– upload them onto my website, post them on my social media accounts, and use them in exhibitions.

What if I don’t want you to post my photos on your website or social media or…anywhere?

I will absolutely honour and respect your wishes. If you don’t want me to upload, post, or display your photos anywhere, I will not do so.

How much does the studio cost?
A list of studios will be provided to you during the pre-shoot video call. Depending on availability, price and the set, that can be chosen.

Do you have a makeup artist and hairstylist?

Yes, I work with some professional makeup artists and hairstylists.

What should I wear?

During our pre-shoot video call, we always discuss outfits that will suit the mood we’re aiming for in your photoshoot. If it’s helpful, I can also send you a guide for creating simple looks that always work well in photoshoots.

Do you provide posing instructions?

Absolutely, that’s part of my job! If you want, I can pre-send you a pose guide to give you some idea of the types of instruction I may give.

Should I practice posing?

No need to practice posing at all! My goal is to create an environment through my photoshoots in which you feel comfortable moving freely and intuitively to express your authentic self.
