Hi, I’m Sam

I am a portrait, lifestyle and street photographer based in Toronto, Canada.

I come from an engineering background, but I’ve always wanted to tell stories, so I chose photography. I’m a self-taught photographer. From early on, I noticed that the photo shoot would be very dull without a story. My best photos are the ones that tell a story. My first source for this narrative is the subject themselves. The more I know who is in front of my camera, the better I can set up all the elements inside and out of the frame to portray them.
